The route from Bayan Lepas to the north coast
The airport sits at the southern tip of Penang Island and Batu Ferringhi on the north coast, so the transfer crosses almost the whole island: about 33 km, around 33 minutes in light traffic.
From Bayan Lepas the road runs up the east side of the island past George Town, then follows the coast through Tanjung Tokong and Tanjung Bungah before the beach strip opens up at Batu Ferringhi. The last stretch is a winding two-lane coastal road with sea views.
Traffic around George Town is the main variable. Weekday rush hours and Friday or holiday evenings can add a good margin, so leave extra time on the way back for your flight.

Teluk Bahang

The drive is about 33 km, around 33 minutes in light traffic. The road passes George Town, so allow longer at morning and evening peak hours or on weekends.
Will the driver meet me inside the terminal?
Only if you add Meet & Greet at checkout (RM30). The driver then waits with a name board at the arrival hall. Without it, the driver meets you at the pickup point.
What if my flight lands late?
Add your flight number at checkout so it is saved with your booking, and book the pickup time for your scheduled landing. If you expect a long wait at immigration or baggage claim, add Extra Waiting Time in 30-minute blocks (RM25 each).
How many passengers and how much luggage fit?
Choose a Toyota Alphard or Toyota Vellfire. Each vehicle takes up to 5 passengers. Tell us about large suitcases, golf bags or a stroller in the Special requests box at checkout. For a full group with big luggage, book a second vehicle.
Can I book the return trip to the airport?
Yes. Make a second booking with your Batu Ferringhi address as the pickup and the airport as the drop-off. It is the same fixed fare: RM250 in an Alphard.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel 48 hours or more before pickup for a full refund, or 24 to 48 hours before for a 50% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours and no-shows are not refunded.
